My Bio
Christina Ricci started her career as a child actress with a breakout role as Wednesday Addam in the Addams Family films. She went on to star in The Ice Storm, Buffalo '66, The Opposite of Sex, Sleepy Hollow, and Monster. Ricci was amongst the first celebrities to help produce The 1 Second Film; she and Adam Goldberg ran into the director on the streets of Hollywood. After hearing his pitch, Ricci and Goldberg split the $11 Christina had in her purse to become Associate Producers. Hundreds of people around the world have since donated $5.51 or more to be listed above Christina Christina Ricci in the credits of The 1 Second Film.

    Site Upgrades: Varnish Installed + 2 Week Hiatus

    This week, we finally got Varnish installed on our servers. Varnish helps our Drupal site performance by making better use of cache to serve up content (instead of the database), and will allow our site to handle a lot more anonymous visitors (hopefully!).

    We are still making other site improvements. The site is still pretty slow, and we also need to improve performance for logged in users. Basically, there is a lot of tech to do. We don't have the resources to do everything, but we want to make  sure we make the most of what we have.
