We haven't made much use of forums as of yet. They keep moving around and aren't that easy to find or to track conversations.

As things grow, they may become a better meeting place. Ideally, this can be a place to discuss good/relevant ideas. Quality over quantity. As opposed to a mall where people hang out and do nothing.

Yeah, give it a chance. :)
