T1SF voice over

i love T1SF voice over idea that is in the works. how amazing to have the voices of different people of all walks of life speaking for one second in unison! i am so giddy about the idea, and can't wait to submit mine. who else is planning on submitting a voiceover? one voice can move mountains, jsut imagine what all our voices together could do.
i'm psyched.

I think we will probably implement some way of making it easier to submit a voiceover when the time comes, so as many people as possible can do it. It should be pretty amazing.

I'm excited about this idea

I'm excited about this idea as well! i think it speaks to the core of this project.

we are still building this site technically and trying to raise resources to make it all possible. It's a sloooow process- we are learning as we go.

current plan is to eventually add a tool on all the producer profiles for uploading the audio for the voice over. We will work on these sort of things after our Road to Oprah tour.

If anyone has technical suggestions for uploading audio, feel free to share them.

I used to run my own podcast

I used to run my own podcast where listeners could call-in and leave a voicemail message for me to broadcast on the podcast show. I used a free voicemail service from Netzero called PrivatePhone. its really easy to set up, you can choose any area code, then people could call to number, and leave a recording of their voice-over. the ebst part is, you can check the voicemail online and it lets you download the voicemail message as an audio file! I think it might be easy, especially for people without a computer microphone. If you needed any help with this, I could set it up for you. Just let me know. this could be cool for some

this could be cool for some stuff, but i'd like to implement something that will keep each voice related to each producer to make it easier to credit everyone. we may just ask people to make voice over videos and create a special place to upload them; i'd like to use the video of the audio as well. i got some ideas for it :)

meanwhile, we have some events we are trying to set up in NY and could definitely use a hand. is it cool if i pass your contact along to our NY regional coordinator?
