Donate by Mail

To send a donation by mail, please follow these steps carefully:

1. Register online to create an account.

2. Validate your account to activate your profile and ID#.

3. Follow the instructions below :: a) for first time donors. b) for adding to your previous amount. For tax-deductible instructions, please scroll all the way down.

a) First-time donors (Aspiring Producers)

1. After you register and validate your account, you will be given an 'Aspiring Producer' profile. Visit your Aspiring Producer profile to get your Aspiring-Producer ID#.

2. Send your check or money order made payable to "The 1 second Film.” In the memo field, include your Aspiring Producer ID#. Mail your donation to:

note: US Currency Only; if sending US cash, please conceal carefully. We can not be responsible for money lost in the mail.

3. Please include your Aspiring Producer ID#, your name, and contact information with your donation. Also, please include a Self Adressed Stamped Envelope if you would like a free business card!

4. After your donation is processed, your name will be listed in our credits and your Aspiring Producer profile will switch to a 'Producer Profile.' Your 'Aspiring Producer ID#' will also be replaced by your official Producer ID#.

Each of our producers can get a free customizable business card featuring a frame of The 1 Second Film. Collect all 12! To receive your free card(s), send us a Self Addressed Stamped Envelope with your name, contact info, and Producer or Aspiring Producer ID#.

The more you give, the more you get: $1 - $9.99 = 1 card $10 - $19.99 = 2 cards $20 - $29.99 = 3 cards $30 - $39.99 = 4 cards $40 - $49.99 = 5 cards $50 - $59.99 = 6 cards $60 - $69.99 = 7 cards $70 - $79.99 = 8 cards $80 - $89.99 = 9 cards $90 - $99.99 = 10 cards $100 or more = all 12 cards! $500 or more = all 12 cards + limited-edition lenticular card! (while supplies last) free postage for Executive Producers donating $500 or more.

Please be sure to include your name, e-mail, and Producer ID# (or Aspiring Producer ID#) when requesting cards. Mail your Self Addressed Stamped Envelope to:

For international Producers outside the U.S., please visit your post office to get a voucher for pre-paid postage, and include the Int'l postage voucher with your self-addressed envelope.

Tax-Deductible Instructions

Large donations of $500 or more can be made tax-deductible in the US by following these instructions:

1. Tax-deductible donations must currently be made by mail.

2. For first-time donors, register online and validate your email to receive your Aspiring Producer ID#. You may then send your donation of $500 or more by check or money order. On-line donations can not currently be made tax-deductible.

3. Send your check or money order of $500 or more made payable to the “Filmmakers Alliance.” In the memo field, include your Aspiring Producer ID# (or your Producer ID# if already a producer) and write “The 1 Second Film.” Please include your e-mail with your donation.

5. After your donation is processed, your Executive Producer credit will be listed and we will send you a receipt with our fiscal-sponsors 501(c)(3) tax ID# for your records. Filmmakers Alliance is our non-profit fiscal-sponsor while The 1 Second Foundation awaits our own 501(c)(3) status determination from the IRS.
