Collaboration Foundation logoOur non-profit Collaboration Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit arts organization. Our mission is to bring people around the world together with collaborative art. The 1 Second Film is our flagship production, and serves as a vehicle for growing our community of participants. Once finished, all profits raised by The 1 Second Film will be donated to the Global Fund for Women, and our community of participants will be invited to participate in our next projects. Our future projects are designed to expand in scale while addressing various social issues. Read our 5 Phase Plan to bring people together, one-second at a time.

How Our Non-Profit Works

Bringing People Together with Art
5 phase planThe idea behind The Collaboration Foundation is to use technology to bring people together to create art on a global scale. We will use the art as platforms to spark dialogue and raise funds for various causes. As we go, we will explore new ways to choreograph collaboration both on and offline, while building a platform for future projects.

Our 5 Phase Plan
The 1 Second Film is the start of our 5 Phase Plan to create collaboration on a global scale. Each project is designed to expand in scale while providing a platform for addressing various social issues. Check out our 5 Phase Plan

All Profits Will Benefit Charity
Profits raised by our projects will be donated to independent charities. With The 1 Second Film, our animation was painted on International Women's Day (March 8, 2001). Once finished, all profits raised by the film will benefit the Global Fund for Women, a non-profit grant-making organization that supports women's human rights around the world. Future projects will address other issues.

Donations to The 1 Second Film are tax-deductible in the US. Tax ID #72-1617975
