Mark Ruffalo is an actor well known for his performances in films such as You Can Count on Me and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Nirvan ran into Mark at an art opening for Kathleen Lolley, who directed frame # 7 of The 1 Second Film. Mark is a collector of Lolley's work, and was happy to become a producer of the film.
