Biography

Ben Harper is a singer/songwriter known worldwide for his signature mix of rock, folk, blues, reggae, and gospel. A long time fan of Harper's music, The director of The 1 Second Film originally met in 1995 after a live-radio performance; Nirvan went on to create a stop-motion short film inspired by Ben Harper's instrumental 'Number Three' from The Will to Live. Nirvan and Ben met again by chance in 2004 on the set of Happy Endings. After hearing about The 1 Second Film project, Ben was quick to give his support, becoming one of our first high profile producers. Ben rocks!
