Woody Harrelson is an Academy Award nominated and Emmy Award winning actor who rose to fame on Cheers and went on to star in such films as White Man Can't Jump, Natural Born Killers, The People vs. Larry Flint, After the Sunset, and A Scanner Darkly. Harrelson is also an environmentalist and advocate of biodiesel and alternate fuel. Harrelson became involved with The 1 Second Film in a roundabout way while filming No Country for Old Men in New Mexico; by chance, he met Dream Mullick (Nirvan's sister) in an Albuquerque bar. Dream is also a producer of The 1 Second Film; she told Woody about the project. Harrelson had left his wallet on set, but was able to borrow a dollar, which he then autographed. The dollar was mailed in and added to our budget.
