Michael Besman has produced such films as About Schmidt, Seven Years in Tibet, and The Opposite of Sex. Besman is currently producing several features and is attached to produce the director of The 1 Second Film's first narrative-feature, The Man in the Flying Lawnchair, based on the true-story of Larry Walters who attached 44 balloons to a lawnchair and floated 16,000 feet in the air.
Why I'm producing The 1 Second Film:
The reason I'm not an Executive Producer on this is it's the Producer that gets the Oscar. I want Nirvan to hurry up and finish this so we can make another movie.
