Hiya, and thanks for visiting my blog. My name is John Griffiths, I’m a Web Developer with 9 years in the business, a budding photographer and really bad guitarist ;-)
I just can’t stop learning, and am passionate about Agile, SEO techniques, Design Patterns, and all that geeky stuff. I’m a keyed-in designer and always hunting for the best ways to do something, regular attendee to BarCamp and GeekDinners; I feel very passionate about the things I help create.
With proven experience in Java, AJAX, C#, .NET, SQL, along with SEO and an AGILE practitioner, I’m a person quick to find the right solution to the worst problems.
I started my career as a developer working for Reuters, refactoring their kit for Y2K and re-designing their database for a bit more power. After that I hooked up with WSP Group and was immediately given the enviable task of constructing the companies entire web and intranet presence, where none previously existed.
John GriffithsFrom there on I’ve produced online systems to handle purchasing, on-the-fly templates, on-demand backups, GIS mapping; even helped install and setup the company’s enterprise CRM system SalesLogix from Pythagorus.
To the future and I’ve developed systems on wide scope of languages and help support my team through some tough times. I’m honest, hard-working and a great pal to have around.
Actively involved in the web community with BarCampLondon, Future of Web Apps and the Future of Web Design conferences this year (along with Joost membership from a nice pal at Skype), I love my career and feel passionately about what I create everyday.
